Krzysztof Król

He participates in shaping the Office’s international engagements, representing UODO at key events such as the 2025 Central and Eastern Europe DPAs group, Council of Europe HUDERIA Workshops. In the European Data Protection Board he’s one of Social Media Subgroup’s coordinators and engages in meetings ranging from taskforces to the plenaries. He also represents the Polish DPA in AI Board’s subgroups. Previously, as Head of the Codes and Certification Division, he was instrumental in developing GDPR-compliant codes of conduct and promoting certification mechanisms, enhancing data protection standards across various sectors. Krzysztof is also an active speaker on topics intersecting data protection and emerging technologies, including the use of drones and data governance in the gaming industry.
